The Radium Engineering Coolant Expansion Tank for the Nissan GT-R (R35) is a high-performance replacement for the OEM plastic coolant tank, designed to withstand the intense heat cycles that can cause plastic tanks to fail over time. CNC machined from billet aluminium and anodized for increased durability, this tank offers superior heat transfer compared to the factory plastic tank, making it ideal for both street and racing applications.

The kit directly replaces the plastic OEM tank without requiring permanent modifications to the vehicle. A specially designed mounting bracket secures to existing threaded holes, and the adapter fittings interface seamlessly with the factory coolant lines. This replacement tank maintains the same functionality as the original system, but its reduced size allows for more room in the engine bay, making it easier to access the engine for servicing and providing space for other modifications.

The tank’s internal design features two chambers with cross-over passages at the top and bottom, as well as an internal swirl feature to aid in deaerating the system, ensuring optimal cooling performance.
