Radium Engineering Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit CCV – Nissan S15 Silvia / 200SX

The Radium Engineering CCV Catch Can Kit for the Nissan S15 Silvia/200SX mounts to 2 of the wiper blade motor mounts. This kit runs inline between the crankcase vent (CCV) port and the intake pipe to capture oil, sludge, and crankcase vapours. At low loads, the system experiences atmospheric pressure. However, under high load (WOT), the line experiences high flow from the crankcase into the intake system. Without the CCV catch can, oil and sludge would accumulate in the intake system, air filter, and intercooler, which would lower thermal efficiency and reduce performance. The CCV catch can captures these contaminants and promotes clean filtered air back into the intake.

1. The CCV catch can kit does not address blow-by from the PCV valve side of the crankcase.
