Radium Engineering Fluid Lock Dual Catch Can Kit – Nissan R32 Skyline GT-R

The Radium Engineering dual catch can kit is designed specifically for the RB26DETT engine in the Nissan R32 Skyline GT-R. This system retains a true PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system and includes separate catch cans for both the PCV valve side and the crankcase vent (CCV) side. Unlike vent-to-atmosphere systems, this closed-loop setup ensures emissions compliance and legality for track use. It helps eliminate oil and sludge from PCV gases before routing them back into the engine for combustion, promoting negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance.

The system includes SAE quick connect fittings that are lightweight, streamline the installation process, and ensure easy servicing. The catch cans feature large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick for easy inspection of accumulated fluid.

PCV Catch Can:
The PCV catch can mounts to threaded bosses on the front RH strut tower. It runs inline between the crankcase vents on the valve cover and the PCV valve on the vacuum chamber. 5/8" hose and 10AN fittings are included for both ends. The PCV system ensures that crankcase vapors, unspent fuel, and oil sludge are effectively captured during high-load conditions, preventing them from entering the intake manifold and reducing unwanted contaminants in the system.

CCV Catch Can:
The CCV catch can mounts to the windshield wiper motor on the LH side of the firewall. It connects inline between the crankcase vents on the valve cover and the turbo inlet pipe. The CCV system captures oil and sludge from the crankcase that would otherwise accumulate in the intake system, intercooler, and air filter intake pipe—helping to maintain performance and thermal efficiency.
