Radium Engineering Fluid Lock Dual Catch Can Kit – Nissan S13 SR20DET

Radium Engineering catch cans feature large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick for easy fluid inspection. These kits mount using factory holes and integrate perfectly with the surrounding components. They do NOT vent to atmosphere (VTA), ensuring they are emissions and track legal. The closed-loop system removes oil and sludge from the PCV gases before they are routed back into the engine to be burned. A closed-loop system also promotes negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance and prevents unwanted oil vapors from entering the cabin. The dipsticks built into the catch cans allow easy inspection of accumulated fluid. No cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications are required.

PCV Catch Can Kit (20-0725):
The PCV catch can kit runs inline between the PCV valve and the intake manifold. It mounts to threaded bosses on the RH strut tower, just clear of the fuel filter. The PCV hose will experience “metered” vacuum when the engine is idling, cruising, and decelerating. During high-load runs, it prevents crankcase vapor, unspent fuel, and oil sludge from entering the intake manifold.

CCV Catch Can Kit (20-0726):
The CCV catch can mounts to 2 holes in the LH side of the unibody near the firewall, designed to clear the windshield wiper motor (RHD) and master cylinders (LHD). It runs inline between the crankcase vent (CCV) port and the intake pipe. At low loads, it experiences atmospheric pressure, but under high load (WOT), it allows for high flow from the crankcase into the intake system. This prevents oil and sludge accumulation in the intake, intercooler, and air filter intake pipe, helping maintain performance.

Dual Catch Can Kit (20-0727):
For the ultimate engine protection, Radium recommends using both the PCV and CCV catch can kits together. The Dual Catch Can Kit (20-0727) combines both systems for comprehensive crankcase ventilation.

1. The PCV catch can kit is compatible and recommended to be used with the CCV catch can kit (see 20-0726).

2. No extra inline check valve is required since Radium catch cans are pressure sealed.

3. The CCV catch can kit does NOT address blow-by from the PCV valve side of the crankcase.

4. The kit is designed to connect the provided hose to the OEM valve cover barb. An add-on option for the SR20DET is available (sold separately).
